With the current world economic situation we at IPI have managed to adapt to the market requirements and restructure our group formation in order to offer specific goods and services as well as solutions in Medium and High Voltage Switchgear.

We believe the way forward is to focus on Asset Management and we offer full risk assessment and health surveys of power networks by implementing the Condition Based Risk Management program (CBRM 2.0). This includes extensive, non-disruptive online surveys which will pinpoint area’s that require immediate attention and prevent dangerous and costly failures while still allowing your network to operate at 100% capacity and result in no production delays.

Other products and services we offer include :

Maintenance programs for medium/high voltage power/distribution transformers and switchgear.
This includes vacuum interrupter “on site” testing. This is a “first” as it provides an indication of the vacuum state.
Failure investigations.
Turnkey small/medium size power related projects.
Retrofitting of circuit breakers (i.e.) upgrading and exchanging of oil with vacuum and/or SF6 units – Please refer to our list of completed designs.
Installation/commissioning of MV/HV equipment.
MV/HV cabling, we also offer permanent and temporary PD investigations on cabling networks.
Special medium voltage motor starters.
Mining skids, we offer units with different primary and secondary voltage ratings up to 132 kV conventional design. ( We are currently completing the engineering on a 132 kV Gas insulated unit.)
Mobiles, we have a number of different designs available ranging from standby power supply to mining transformers step down units. This can be customised as per your requirements.
